Like what you see? This is a really fun workshop as you get to make your own bias and learn how to apply it to a pouch. It’s very satisfying to peel back the bias and see it frame the pouch, giving the pouch a professional finish. Quilting with a walking foot is also enjoyable as it add another dimension to your project. Once these skills are learnt, you can then apply them and elevate your other projects to a next level. Students will also take back a bonus pattern which is a baby version of the Gemma Pouch.
This Quilted Gemma Pouch 2.0 Workshop is a revised workshop from the original workshop. In Version 2.0 the sewing technique will be slightly revised and the students will be shown how to sew a 2nd variation of the body of the pouch. We won’t have time to sew the 2nd version, so it will be demonstrated in class.
