Have you ever heard of the carpet bag? It’s been around for donkey years! It’s originally a large bag made of thick fabric made for carpets and has a wide opening. Kinda like a large weekender bag.
You may have seen it in the movies! The wonderful Julie Andrews carrying it on the way to the Von Trapp family in the Sound of Music AND not to forget (we can’t forget!) the carpet bag in Mary Poppins! The great feature of using this type of bag frame is that it has a large opening & snaps close. Easy peasy.
Anyway, I’m getting a bit carried away here. I’ve taken this type of bag frame and designed something a bit smaller, but still roomy and with curved lines. You’ll learn how to install invisible snap magnets and we’ll top it off with a pair of leather handles!
